Morning Worship Sample Liturgy

**Songs and Readings change from week to week.

Welcome to Grace United Reformed Church.

We believe that worship is a meeting with God for covenant renewal in Christ. Let us do so with reverence and awe, for we are called “to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the judge of all, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant” (Hebrews 12:22-24).

Welcome

God Speaks His Law

Congregation: Gracious Father, our sins are too heavy to carry. The wrongs we have committed are too real to hide. The pain that we have caused others is too deep to undo. Forgive what our lips tremble to name and what our hearts can no longer bear. We confess that we have turned from your law of perfect liberty to live in our sinful desires. To our shame we have been forgetful hearers rather than faithful doers.
